Valor Christian CO sophomore Cole Sprout took second in the 5-kilometer boys sweepstakes race at the Desert Twilight Festival at Grande Sports World Complex in Casa Grande, Ariz. Sprout was leaned out by Kirtland Central NM standout Kashon Harrison at the finish line by a 14:48.54 to 14:48.47 margin.
