[Women's Cross Country] SSU ranks 12th at NAIA National ChampionshipPublished by
LAWRENCE, Kan. (Women's Cross Country) – The Shawnee State women's cross country team placed three runners in the top 100 – Sarah Biehl (JR/Lowell, Ohio) finished in a team-best 23rd – as the Bears finished 12th as a team at the 59th Annual NAIA National Championship at Rim Rock Farm on Thursday afternoon. Biehl crossed the finish line in a time of 18:28.3, less than a second behind two others, and just a minute and a half behind British Columbia's Maria Bernard, the individual champion.
