The SSU men's cross country team finished 7th among 27 teams in the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge Maroon Race. This race featured several nationally ranked NAIA teams. Hunter Hoover (SR/Waverly, Ohio) boasted a top-20 finish placing 15th with a time of 24:51.1 for the 8k course. Backing Hoover, Jonah Phillips (SO/Chillicothe, Ohio) (25:19.6, 33rd) and Aiden Kammler (SO/Portsmouth, Ohio) (25:35.5, 48th) both had top-50 finishes.
