[Women's Cross Country] Biehl named MSC Runner of the WeekPublished by
COLUMBIA, Ky. (Women's Cross Country) – For the third time in her career, Shawnee State women's cross country runner Sarah Biehl (SR/Lowell, Ohio) has won the Mid-South Conference's Runner of the Week Award. The senior runner from Lowell, Ohio was awarded with the honor on Tuesday afternoon after a time of 18:34 allowed the Sports Management major to nail down a splendid fourth-place run at the Flyer 5K Invitational in Kettering, Ohio on Saturday morning. With the aforementioned time of 18:34 in the 74-person field, Biehl nailed down a time that was one minute and nine seconds faster than her closest teammate, Anna Havranek (SO/Sugarcreek, Ohio) and put down a run that was faster than 57 of the 60 Division I runners that were competing in the event, finishing just 33 seconds off of the winning runner.
