Behind their strong academic work, the cross country programs at Shawnee State University were able to put eight individuals on the All-Academic Mid-South Conference squads for men's and women's cross country combined, with four of those eight individuals hailing from three different high schools in Scioto County.

Shawnee State, who only finished behind Lindsey Wilson's and Cumberlands (Ky.)'s nine apiece for the most in the Mid-South across both programs, put TJ Hoggard, Dalton Kerschieter, and Chris Parsons on the unit for the men and added in Abigail Osborn, Sydney Osborn, Brooke Smith, Marissa Smith, and Mallory Spencer on the women's side of the coin to round out the eight honorees in all.
