The men's and women's cross country programs at Shawnee State continued their roughshod over their Mid-South Conference competition on Saturday, as the men's cross country program -- who collected a resounding victory from Seth Farmer -- swept each of the top four running positions while the women's cross country program obtained a Mid-South Conference Championship-winning run from Brooke Smith and a second-place finish from Jessica Price on Saturday.

Additionally, a total of 11 harriers, including eight on the men's side of the spectrum, finished with conference honors between the two units, with Smith and Farmer obtaining Mid-South Conference Runner of the Year honors with their conference championship-winning times of 18:21 and 25:15, Jonah Phillips collecting the Mid-South Conference's Freshman of the Year award, and Eric Putnam and John Williams finishing with Mid-South Conference Coach of the Year accolades after leading both programs to the 2019 MSC Championships.
