[Women's Cross Country] SSU women projected to win MSC title for 11th consecutive seasonPublished by
The women's cross country program at Shawnee State, with 119 points and nine first-place votes, was picked to win the Mid-South Conference Championship in Friday's Mid-South Conference Cross Country Preseason Poll releases. The women are seeking their 11th consecutive title since joining the Mid-South Conference in 2010. SSU, however, did not grab their first-place standing with ease as Cumberlands (Ky.), who was picked second in the poll, finished just nine points behind the Bears' total.
