Following a 10th place finish of 26 units at the Great Lakes Challenge, the women's cross country program at Shawnee State was able to hold serve inside the NAIA Women's Cross Country Poll's Top 25 as the Bears collected a No. 22 overall ranking in the latest version of the rankings, which were released on Thursday.

Shawnee State, who accumulated 204 points in the latest version of the NAIA Women's Cross Country Poll, sits just behind Huntington (Ind.) and Concordia (Neb.) by two and five points, respectively, in the latest version of the poll. SSU still holds an 83-point cushion over the leading receiving vote getter, SCAD Savannah (Ga.).
