Behind their 10th consecutive Mid-South Conference Championship, the Shawnee State women were able to maintain their own national top-25 standing as the Bears posted a No. 24 overall ranking in the last in-season NAIA Women's Cross Country Top 25 Poll.

Shawnee State, who obtained 147 points to best Oklahoma City by six points for the No. 24 position, sits just nine points behind SCAD Savannah (Ga.), 24 behind Dordt (Iowa), and 32 back of Carroll (Mont.) in a tightly-contested NAIA Women's Cross Country Top 25 Poll.
