The Women's and Men's Cross Country teams competed at the Live in Lou Cross Country Classic on Saturday, October 1st. The Women's team raced in the Silver Race with Jozi Brown (SR/McConnelsville, Ohio) leading the Bears with a 15th place finish. Brown ran the 5k course in a time of 19:18.9. Following Brown, Mikella Meddock (SO/Ashville, Ohio) (20:18.2, 59th), Sarah Letchford (SO) (21:20.6, 143rd), Elizabeth Middleton (21:42.1, 167th), and Shari Ritchey ( 21:47.0, 174th) finished out the Bears top 5 runners. Deanna Hall (JR/Proctorville, Ohio) (22:09.3, 210th) and Paige Abbinante (FR) (22:33.5, 240th) rounded it out for the Bears. The team finished 15th overall out of 40 teams.
